Rudy Medina of Medina Project Construction spoke about his company, which specializes in kitchens and bathrooms remodels, additions and repair work, as well as installation of doors, windows, and skylights. Sustainable building practices are incorporated into each of their projects, no matter the size and scope. Medina Project Construction is a member of the Build It Green non-profit organization whose mission is to promote healthy, energy- and resource-efficient building practices in California. Rudy mentioned that reducing, reusing, and recycling have always been a way of life for him and his family and, therefore, eco-conscious construction is also an important aspect of his business. As a certified green building professional company, Medina Project Construction has taken the responsibility for upholding the standards of Build-It Green. Throughout every phase of the construction process, they look for opportunities to implement practices that will have a more positive impact on the environment.
Rudy lives with his wife, son and daughter in Watsonville and in his free time, enjoys mountain biking, surfing and spending time with his family.
